Food Production Laboratory
The Lab for the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration serves as the training facility for coursework in food and beverage skills for students. The HRT Lab consists of a production kitchen as well as a demonstration lab. The dining room oversees a newly developed enclosed courtyard. Training results in advanced knowledge that is used to provide key functions for the School of HRT throughout the year.
The leading event that is provided, as a result of the lab experience, is the Distinguished Alumni Award Dinner. This event recognizes a graduate of the program who has achieved a very high level of success.
