Physical and numerical modeling in environmental hydraulics, Settling tank hydrodynamics, Lake and river hydrodynamics, Transport of contaminated sediments, fluvial morphodynamics
McCorquodale?s research interests include physical and numerical modeling of environment processes involving flood control, hydraulics of water and waste water treatment systems, transient analyses of force mains and water distributions systems and shore protection. His recent work involves the hydrodynamic modeling of the Lower Mississippi River as well as the Pontchartrain and Barataria Estuaries.
