National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education
The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) is "the profession’s mechanism to help establish high quality teacher preparation."

The counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
The University is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
