Donald E. Barbe, Ph.D., holds the Contractors Educational Trust Professorship in Civil Engineering in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering.. His research interests are in the areas of hydrology, water quality modeling, and stormwater management. Dr. Barbe has worked in private practice for fifteen years where he was the project engineer for over one hundred million dollars in civil engineering design projects. Dr. Barbe' is a registered professional engineer and registered hydrologist. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (Fellow), and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He has author or co-author over 60 papers and reports and made over 30 presentations at professional meetings.
